Cooper Moves

Our Goal:
1,000,000 minutes of
cardiovascular exercise

between January 1 & June 7

Each week, all Cooper students participate in 2 cardiovascular days during their physical education classes. During this time, students use Polar Heart Rate Monitors, purchased by the Cooper M.S. PTO, in order to monitor the intensity of their exercise. While these class periods are important and students are learning a great deal about health and fitness, this time is not enough to ensure a healthy heart and lungs!

As students and staff members make their resolutions for the start of 2006, this goal--for Cooper's students and staff members--can become one toward which individual students and staff members work!
