Information in Our Community

Throughout their middle school experience, Cooper students are expected to search out all types of new information. Sometimes students will gather such information by conducting an experiment and, at other times, they might conduct an interview with someone. A great deal of the time, though, their search for information will require students to seek out new sources of print information. To do this, students must use the library.

The Library Media Center is part of Cooper's 1995-96 building addition. The new space allowed us to house 16 online reference computers and a 30 station instructional computer lab. The LMC also has a 4 station public access catalog where students can electronically search our collection of approximately 12,000 items. To search our collection online, click here.

In addition to the wide array resources available in the Cooper LMC, Cooper students also have access to their local public libraries. School District 21 students live in one of the following library districts:

- Indian Trails Public Library
- Arlington Heights Memorial Library

- Mt. Prospect Public Library

Each library can be accessed through its website from the above link.
